The North Haven High School Athletic Department is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Justin Blood as the new head coach for the North Haven High School Boys’ Lacrosse Program.

Since 2018, Justin has been on the lacrosse coaching staff at Notre Dame-West Haven High School. He attended Branford High School where he was a captain, All-SCC, and All-State lacrosse player. Additionally, he is a current offensive player for the Team Poland Lacrosse Team.

Athletic Director Steve Blumenthal stated, “Coach Blood brings a renewed energy and enthusiasm to the North Haven High School Boys’ Lacrosse Programs. Along with his wealth of knowledge and experience, we expect a resurgence in the boys’ lacrosse program in 2022. We are very excited to have Justin as a head coach.”

Justin works as an Emergency Department Head Boys' Lacrosse Coach

Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital, a Registered Nurse at Yale University, and a Combat Medic/Healthcare Specialist with the Connecticut Army National Guard. He attended the WGU School of Business and Salve Regina University School of Nursing. When he is not working he enjoys fishing, boating, and spending time with family. He currently lives in North Haven with his wife and two cats.
