North Haven Middle Girls Soccer Informational Meeting

will be held afterschool on Thursday June 6th.

The meeting will last approximately 30 minutes for parent pickup at 2:30 in the bus loop.

FIRST DAY OF TRYOUTS:

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th 

 

  1. Roster with Positions. 
  2. Sports Packet MUST be completed prior to the first day of tryouts.  You cannot try out without submitting this package.  The link for this form is:  The deadline for this is SEPT 4th.
 
  1. Time Requirements: Practice Daily (M-F) no other obligations during this time frame or do not come out for the team.  Season will include all of September and October from 2:00-4:00. (Games may be longer)

Tryout Process in the Fall:

Measure Strength, Endurance, and Speed

Measure your soccer skills in drills and games

Assess your attitude.. (Yes coach vs. how come and why.)

Everyone is equal on day one…. Regardless of being on the team before.

Tips for Fall 2024-2025 Sports Registration
  1. Create an account on the arbiter sports website   www.arbitersports.com
  • Submit a registration application for clearance to participate. Most common issues come with the following: Missing physical, incorrect Agreement signatures
  1. Please upload a recent (within the last 13 months, starting from 9/2023)) physical (State of Connecticut Health Assessment Record) to arbiter sports registration. 
  1. Please complete the Agreements Section by entering the Parent/Guardian name AND Student’s name under each of the 9 agreements. 
  • Clearance to participate
  1. Registration for fall sports is set to close Sep 4, 2024. Tryouts are scheduled to start on Sep 9, 2024. 
  1. **Please submit registrations by Sep 4, 2024 for review and clearance. 
  1. Even though a registration is submitted successfully, it does not mean an automatic clearance to participate/tryout. The registration will be reviewed for clearance or corrections required 
  1. Once reviewed, families are updated via email sent to the email address entered when the account is created each time a registration submission is reviewed. 
  • If a. & b.of section 2 above are not completed correctly, the student is not eligible to participate until correctly submitted. 
  1. Families are notified of necessary changes needed via email through arbiter sports-the email used to set up the family account. 
  1. ** To reiterate:  When the registration is cleared for participation or corrections are required for clearance, an email is sent to the email address that was entered into arbiter sports when the account was created. This is usually within 48 hours of submission. 
  1. **Please consider if a registration is submitted after the school day, in the evening, or on a weekend, it could take longer to review. We appreciate your attention to the closing date of 9/4/24.
  1. Please check your email for communication regarding the status of your student’s registration.
